OneSky Jets Launches New CharterX /Wyvern PASS

27-Jan-2008

TRENTON, N.J. -- Jan. 28, 2008 -- CharterX Corp. and its subsidiary, Wyvern Consulting Ltd., the world's leading technology and information services provider for the air charter industry, announced today that OneSky Jets is the first launch partner to systematically use the new Pilot & Aircraft Safety Survey (PASS) program. OneSky will be able to perform comprehensive trip safety due diligence on each trip it arranges for its clients. Each PASS report checks and verifies crucial information concerning the operator, aircraft and crew for a given trip--summarizing the findings in an easy-to-read, one-page report branded with OneSky's logo.

"We've had a strong relationship with OneSky Jets almost since its inception; I know they've always been dedicated in providing their customers with world-class service," said Jim Betlyon, CEO of CharterX and Wyvern. "Both companies are committed to promoting aviation safety and increasing efficiencies in the air charter industry through the use of modern technology systems. OneSky's team has been invaluable in providing us with feedback throughout the design and development of the system, making them the perfect launch partner for PASS."

Greg Johnson, OneSky's president and CEO said, "Having been a long time partner of CharterX, I was anxious to see what the acquisition of Wyvern would add to the CharterX portfolio. I'm happy to see that the participation of OneSky in the development of PASS has resulted in a comprehensive, yet easy-to-use trip due diligence system."

The unique and sophisticated capabilities of the PASS program support OneSky's strong commitment to aviation safety. Unlike older systems, which require massive paperwork and human intervention, Wyvern's PASS system relies upon advanced data crawlers that aggregate almost all information automatically. Once the trip has assigned aircraft and crew, customers can verify that the trip meets their safety requirements using the PASS system. For example, the pilot check verifies that the assigned pilot is fully certificated, properly type rated, has met flight time requirements, has current medical and training records. The operator check verifies the official certificate information; the report discloses all dba names the operator is authorized to use. Each section of the report displays a summary of the information being verified, with a complete list of failure codes, if the operator, aircraft or crew does not qualify.
