Jim Betlyon - CEO

Mr. Betlyon is cofounder and CEO of CharterX and Wyvern Consulting.

Previously, Mr. Betlyon was General Manager of Business Development at Imation Corporation (NYSE:IMN), where he managed technology acquisitions. Imation acquired his second company, Luminous Corporation in October of 1996. Mr. Betlyon was founder and CEO of Luminous Corporation, Seattle, Wa., a company focusing on the new markets and technologies in graphic arts, imaging, and workflow automation across the Internet. Formerly, Mr. Betlyon was Vice President of the Production Imaging Group at Adobe Systems Inc. (NSDQ: ADBE) where he managed the PostScript business unit and other emerging technologies and directions in graphic arts and Internet. While at Adobe, Mr. Betlyon directed several acquisitions and was an advisor to the Adobe Venture Fund.

Mr. Betlyon was president and founder of Compumation Inc., which was acquired by Adobe Systems in March of 1994. He founded Compumation in 1988; the company developed products for print and image management, and developed concepts of automated workflow systems in publishing. Prior to Compumation, Mr. Betlyon was an R&D manager for ITT Corporation and started one of the first imaging service bureaus. He has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University and an MS in Engineering Management from NJIT. He resides in Bucks County Pa., is married with three sons, and is an active pilot, owning his own aircraft.

Bonney Pelley - Chief Operations Officer

Bonney grew up in Massachusetts and attended Harvard University, where she graduated magna cum laude in the History of Science. After graduating, she headed west to San Francisco to begin her professional career in investment banking at Hambrecht & Quist (later acquired by JP Morgan Chase). There she held positions in both corporate finance and equity research, working with such Internet innovators as Broadcast.com, MP3.com, Inktomi, Travelocity, LinkExchange, and Phone.com. In 1999, she left to co-found Echo Networks, an Internet music service provider. Thanks to her contributions, the firm attracted over 500,000 customers, formed a strategic music-licensing partnership with Warner Music Group and garnered PC Magazine's "Editor's Choice" award for best online music product. Echo Networks was acquired in early 2003 by a consortium of major brick and mortar music retailers including the Virgin Entertainment Group, Tower Records, Wherehouse , Best Buy, Transworld Entertainment and Hastings Entertainment. In April 2002, she relocated to Portland, OR and brought her years of Internet-related management, development and marketing skills to CharterX.

Doug Rank - Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Rank has proven his ability to deliver successful software development projects throughout his career. In 1998, Mr. Rank founded Forte Systems, a company providing development services for database-driven Internet applications. In this role, he worked with many companies to analyze their business and technical strategies and to deliver innovative technologies that enhanced their business processes. In 1996, Mr. Rank served as a systems architect for Luminous Corporation; his responsibilities included designing and bringing to market three client/server applications. Previously, he worked as a product manager for several software companies, including Compumation Inc. and Adobe Systems Inc. Mr. Rank received both his BS in Physics and BA in Political Science from Penn State University.
