Maintaining current safety margins — better still, reducing risks — requires emphasizing safety in management’s strategic planning, decision making and resource allocation. Among management’s best tools for this purpose are confidential, independent aviation operational safety audits. An independent evaluation of your flight department can help you ensure regulatory compliance and apply industry best practices to your operation.

Wyvern audits are thorough and collaborative
Wyvern will work with you prior to the audit to determine the standards that will be used to evaluate your operation. Once on site, the audit team will examine your department’s compliance with the applicable FAA regulations and your GOM. The team will review your crew and aircraft records, emergency preparedness and response, flight and maintenance training, and safety programs. The auditors will use interviews as a primary means of obtaining an understanding of your processes. This open forum also gives your management team and opportunity to share experiences and knowledge with the auditors.
At the end of the on-site evaluation, Wyvern auditors will sit down with your management team to provide them with
feedback and recommendations based on the audit findings. This in-person meeting will be followed by a written report which summarizes the audit findings and recommendations that can be used for internal briefing, training and planning.
