NBAA Welcomes Brownback/Roberts GA Bill

Last week, Senators Sam Brownback (R-KS) and Pat Roberts (R-KS) introduced the General Aviation Depreciation bill, a measure to extend the current accelerated depreciation allowance for aircraft purchase. "We thank Senators Brownback and Roberts for introducing this legislation to bolster the industry's role in supporting over a million jobs," said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. The senators' proposal comes just weeks after Rep. Todd Tiarht (R-4-KS) introduced similar legislation in the House of Representatives.
