Air Charter Service expands in North America
03-Feb-2010
Air Charter Service is delighted to announce the opening of its new office in Toronto. The venture is the company’s second operation in North America along with one in New York – and worldwide ACS now has a total of 10 offices.
Heading up the new operation is Gary Hopkins. Gary has been with Air Charter Service for almost nine years now. His aviation career started in the cargo department at the London headquarters, before his expertise and experience gained him a promotion to Cargo Sales Director of the New York Office three years ago. He is now relishing the challenge of heading up the new Canadian office: “Having worked in New York for the past three years I feel confident and excited about opening the Toronto office. This is a great new challenge for myself and Air Charter Service, and the first step in our expansion in North America.”
Joining Gary, and heading up the passenger side of the new operation, will be Anthony Haries. Anthony has been working in ACS London’s executive jet department for the past three years. He has a pilot’s license and is an aviation enthusiast.
ACS Canada plans to utilise the global network of offices that the group has – the company’s offices span four continents and continue to win more and more business with their local knowledge, a trend that the Toronto office intends to keep going.
ACS's managing director, Tony Bauckham, commented: “Gary and Anthony are the perfect mix to start up in Toronto - we opened three other new offices last year, and we expect Air Charter Service Canada to emulate their success."
